I could get someone to watch the boys but despite the potential for toddler outrage, I'm going to take them both with me. Tomorrow's referendum will impact their lives whatever the outcome and I'd like them to know they were there when I exercised my political freedom and cast my vote.
For months I've been reading government papers, opposition publications, editorials and opinion polls. I've watched debates and breastfed a tiny Leo whilst sitting next to Johann Lamont as she took the time to answer questions from undecided voters.
And now I've made my choice. I've also resolved that no matter the outcome, my next step is to get active in making Scotland, whether part of the UK or not, a better fairer (and greener!) place for my children, their children and beyond.
